Kønigreich Ironien - Cover

Mallorca. The Maldives. The Dominican Republic. These are wonderful travel destinations, I guess everyone would agree. But let’s be honest: Except for beautiful landscapes, binge-drinking tourists and paradise on earth you won’t miss a lot there.

In the Ironic Kingdøm things are a little different. Here at all the cradle of all irony, where Ironic is the official language and where you have to insult the king himself to get a visa, you still can experience incredible surprises.

I am sorry guys, but this still unpublished fictional travel guide/cartoon book is written in German. I will try my best to translate the texts every time I upload something.

Mallorca.

“First rule for visitors: Don’t wonder about the country’s language too much.”

Airport guy: “Welcome to the Ironic Kingdøm. I hope you will have a nice visit.”
Girl: “Yeah, I know… The very first time it always feels like they are making fun of you. Just keep walking.”

Kønigreich Ironien - Außenpolitik

“Why Ironic foreign politics always is a little unpredictable.”

American representative: “So you say you don’t intend to attack the United States of America?”
Ironic representative: “No.”
American representative: “Was that Ironic again?
Ironic representative: “Yes.”

Kønigreich Ironien - Staatsgründung

“How the Ironic state was founded.”
Ironic settler: “Don’t worry, we just want to stretch our legs a little bit.”

Kønigreich Ironien - Wetter

“Why the Ironic weather requires a well-prepared choice of clothes.”

Girl: “Are you kidding me? Thirty degrees in the shade and it is snowing?”
Guy: “I think there may have been a lightning as well.”
