KLAMM – WAHNSEE

The lyrics of the German-based avantgarde metal band KLAMM are ambiguous, poetical and packed with strong symbols. In close partnership with the band I visualized text passages of every song on their 2012 concept LP “Wahnsee”. This extensive artwork has been used on both the front cover and the 20-page booklet. Because of the fan’s good reception the band even sells a 60x60cm carton print and shirts with the eye-shaped lake motive.

The close-ups below give a pretty good impression about this pieces details. Can you find the cat and mice on the picture with the churchtower?

Every song got its own graphic icon that is both appearing in the booklet and the CD itself – representing the connection between the songs and their lyrical contents.
